If you are new to the sport of Archery, or new to our club, and want to check it out, We recommend that you do the following:

Attend our General Meeting held at the beginning of every semester (if it has not already passed)

Attend a Beginner Session (Normally held for two weeks following the General Meeting. Information about times and location can be found on here)

• Archery DeCal class

• ASCENT (intermediate program that stands for Advanced Strategies for Competing Effectively and Nurturing Technique)

• Team (advanced program)

After you've had a lesson at our beginner session, and would like to continue Archery and practicing with us you need to become a club member.

Become a member of the RSF ($10 per semester for UCBerkeley students. Any other information regarding this membership can be found at: Rec Sports Home Page

Pay Club Membership Dues ($40 per semester for UCBerkeley students // $70 per semester for Non-Students)

Submit a Personal Information, Waiver & Code of Conduct Form (Details Below)

1. Go to the Cashier's Office outside of the RSF.


2. Tell them you are paying dues for a Sports Club. They will hand you a half sheet of paper.


3. Fill our your Name, SID#, and Phone Number.


4. Write down "Archery Club Membership" Cost is $40 for students. Pay via Check or Card.

1. Go to this website: Login to Rec Sports and select your Affiliation


2. If you are a Student, enter your SID# and Passphrase. If not, you must create an account.


3. You will be directed to the Sports Club Management Page


4. For First Time Users, Click the Join A Club link.


5. Fill Out your Personal Information & submit.


6. On new page, enter your name into the provided areas, and mark the check boxes to complete the Waiver and Code of Conduct Form.


7. Afterwards, log in again and Click Join A Club


8. Select "Archery" from the drop down menu.


9. Complete the rest of the form, and submit.


10. Under the Team Roster link, be sure that "Archery" is listed, otherwise you have not officially joined the club.

1. Go to list.berkeley.edu


2. Enter "calarchery@lists.berkeley.edu" and click "search".


3. Fill in your personal information and click "subscribe".

IMPORTANT:
After you have had your first Archery Lesson or Beginner Sessions have ended, you MUST complete the above tasks to continue shooting with CalArchery. The RSF is very strict about all club members completing these forms for liability reasons.
